The Out of Favor Boys

The Out of Favor Boys is one of Southwest Michigan’s premier contemporary blues bands. They’ve been the house band at two of Kalamazoo’s longest-lasting Thursday Blues Jams at Wonderful’s Funky Basement and The 411 Club.

In addition to jamming with the best local and regional musicians, hosting the jam session has given the band the opportunity to play with some national blues musicians like Tab Benoit, Watermelon Slim and Robert Bradley.

Coldwater's own Tommy Ufkes plays drums with this band.
