Rise Above Festivals
The Rise Above Festival is organized by Solid Rock Ministry of World Harvest Assembly of God (Quincy, MI). It is probably better described as a special, passionate worship service with food and fellowship. Speakers speak from the heart about how Jesus Christ has changed their lives and how Jesus can change your life. All are invited. In between speakers, music is performed. Free food and non-alcoholic beverages are provided. Children should bring their own entertainment. Location: Waterworks Park, Coldwater.In the first festival (Sept. 2015), the special speakers were Evangelist Sherrie Caudill, Pastor Kenneth Wright (Gus), Randy Rowe, and Tony Mullins (Evangelist). Praise bands were planned but due to special circumstances it had to be changed to just acoustic guitar (albeit with some very GOOD players).
A second 2015 festival was held on October 3rd, but it was also scaled down due to unusually bad weather (cold, rain, wind).
Ongoing "festival" days have occurred throughout 2016, but with no set schedule nor performers. Please consult the MyColdwater.com Events Page to see if another Solid Rock Ministry event is coming up.
